Solihull
Centre
Who we are
Solihull Centre was founded in 1974 and currently has nearly 1,000 members in the Solihull and neighbouring area.
Our objectives are to encourage membership of the National Trust, raise funds for the National Trust’s local and national appeals and arrange a programme of events and activities for the benefit of our members. To date we have raised over £275,000 that has been allocated to National Trust projects such as Operation Neptune and our local National Trust properties.
Independent of the National Trust, our affairs are conducted by a committee of officers and members who are elected annually. The committee is aided by a number of helpers who provide valuable assistance with the events.
A National Trust Volunteer group, affiliated to the Centre, takes part in a mixture of activities behind the scenes at National Trust properties including Baddesley Clinton and Packwood House
